I didn’t realise,

Not until today, now, this moment.

As I saw myself, looking back at me.

Staring, boring, loving, seeing: deep into the core of where I have come from.

You see, there was pain.

You know, there was trauma.

A lot of it.

I thought it might be too much for you.

But here’s the thing, it has to be all of me

Not just the best bits, you know?

It has to come about, at some point.

I had to reach a point, this point, this road, this fork in the path:

That has a great big mother f-ng mirror:

Standing.

Right here.

In front of me.

Staring at me,

Into me

The core of me.

So here I am

Me

The real me.

The Whole of me.
